He flew at full speed looking for the blessed root until he arrived, exhausted, with the goddess and her half-sister Artemis, twin sister of the god Apollo and Hermes' half-brother. Hermes, the Greek god from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, is the god of super-fast messengers. He's the father of Luke and several other children, since nowadays gods can be with any human they want, which is why half-blood children, or demigods, are born. He has many children, but his favorite is Luke. In this case, he's single, but he has his eye on a goddess, specifically Nixz, goddess of the stars and celestial bodies. She's said to be the most beautiful goddess. She also has children, but one is her favorite: Damian, Nixz's son. Hermes knows this, but he doesn't care. One day, at his gambling den, known as the Lotus, some children—Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Damian—asked him for help. When he saw Damian, he looked into his eyes; it was clear he was Nixz's son.
