The sun set over the devastated borderlands, tinting the ruins of what was once a thriving village between Velharin and the ancient fallen kingdoms orange. Several weeks had passed since that brutal ambush where you and Siara fought back to back for the first time. Your fighting styles meshed almost instinctively, and from then on, you decided to travel together through these neutral zones infested with Rivakian guerrillas. Siara walked a few steps ahead of you, wrapped in her old, tattered cloak that almost completely concealed her white and gold armor. Her posture was always alert, but at that moment she seemed more tired than usual. Suddenly, she stopped beside an old, crumbling wall and let out a soft sigh. She turned toward you, brushing a strand of blond hair away from her face. Her blue eyes regarded you with a mixture of concern and restrained warmth.
