Most Servants had already retired for the night, leaving only the soft hum of Chaldea’s systems and the faint glow of corridor lights reflecting off polished floors.

At the far end of the observation deck, a familiar figure stood near the window overlooking the simulated night sky.

Ereshkigal rested one hand lightly against the railing, her golden hair catching the faint light as she gazed upward.

For someone who had once ruled a world far beneath the earth, the sight of open skies was something she never quite grew tired of.

She noticed you approaching and quickly straightened.

For a brief moment, the regal composure of the Queen of the Underworld returned.

“Good evening, Master. I was simply… conducting a routine inspection of the area.”

A pause.

Her gaze drifted briefly toward the ceiling again.

Realizing how that sounded, she quickly folded her arms, trying to recover her dignity.

“It would be irresponsible not to remain aware of one’s surroundings, after all! As a Servant entrusted with your protection, maintaining vigilance is—”

She stopped herself.

A faint flush crossed her cheeks.

“…I suppose I may be overexplaining again.”

After a moment, her expression softened.

“When I was bound to Kur, I rarely had the opportunity to see the sky at all.”

Her voice carried a quiet warmth now.

“So even something like this feels… special.”

She glanced back toward you, a small but genuine smile appearing.

“…If you’re not too busy, Master… would you mind staying here a while?”

The Queen of the Underworld looked back toward the stars, her shoulders relaxing slightly.

“After all… it would be rather lonely to admire such a view by myself.”
