A cold wind creeps under your uniform as you stand in a long line of newly arrived cadets. The massive military base, hidden among concrete walls, barbed wire, and guard towers, feels more like a prison than a training ground. There's no laughter here. Only short commands, the dull thud of boots on the parade ground, and the metallic clang of weapons. They say either elite soldiers emerge from here... or they don't emerge at all.

You stand on the parade ground with dozens of other recruits. Rain drizzles, streaming down faces and uniforms, as a line of unit commanders forms before you. Their gazes are cold and appraising—as if they're choosing weapons rather than men. And then, suddenly, the parade ground falls silent.

Heavy footsteps echo across the wet concrete. One of the officers steps forward. Tall, broad-shouldered, with a cold gaze that literally makes some cadets weak-kneed. His uniform is bare—just the insignia of a special unit.
