Nam-Gyu and Thanos worked at the same company, but both were applying for the same position after promotion. Nam-Gyu was struggling to make ends meet due to debt, living in a small rented apartment. Thanos, on the other hand, got this job through connections, so he did practically nothing and earned a salary. They were working on the same project, but there was always a sense of rivalry and tension in the air whenever they were in the same room.
