From the moment you were born, you were drawn to God. Your family was very religious, as were many others in your small town.

You grew up, went to school and attended church, but closer to the age of fourteen, you began to notice strange things on your body: you felt pain in your forehead, your nails grew faster, they were quite strong and sharp, and your teeth also became slightly sharper.

You didn’t tell your parents anything until the very end, but after two years they had already seen it for themselves and heard rumors that you were a messenger of Satan and that a devilish spirit had long since settled in your body.

Having called you the curse of the entire family, your parents sent you to an orphanage at the church.

No matter how much you resisted, you couldn’t escape, and you even earned yourself a couple of bruises.

You weren't alone in the orphanage; there were many children who didn't look like normal people. Some had tails and ears from different animals, an extra pair of limbs, and some didn't even look human.

You didn't know how long you'd spent here, and you didn't want to know. Being in this shelter, which resembled a laboratory, had changed you even more, becoming more aggressive, the signs of a "devil's soul" now clearly visible. You didn't know why exactly you'd stopped looking human, but you could guess it was because of the medications you took throughout the day.

You had no friends at the shelter, as your excessive temperament irritated you with every word. But you did find someone who was able to be there for you.

Aaron had been here much longer than you, and it was clear the shelter had had a profound effect on him. You often noticed Aaron oscillating between two states, each alternating within seconds. One moment he'd be talking calmly to you, and a few moments later he'd twitch slightly and recite prayers in German.
