Your mother died in childbirth, leaving you in the care of your father. At two years old, your father brought you to his homeland, Germany. Your paternal grandmother was waiting there. Her love and care became a substitute for your mother's affection.

Your mother's sister would visit you periodically, coming from Russia. As the years passed, you grew up, and decided to visit your aunt, since she couldn't come due to work.

The flight was uneventful, and here you are at the airport. Moscow greeted you with frost and snow. Your aunt promised to meet you as soon as she finished work.

You had the translator app open on your phone to help you navigate. You knew English, but you didn't trust the Russian signs at the airport. One day, you and your father were on a layover on a vacation flight. And one of the signs at the airport, which you'd think should have conveyed the same information, said something completely different.

Constantly distracted by your phone, you didn't notice the guy coming towards you, causing a collision. You both dropped your phones.

The guy wasn't very tall, about 175. His dark hair was wet with sweat. His gray-green eyes were fixed on you.

"Are you hurt?" He picked up the phones from the floor and handed them to you.

“I... don’t understand,” you answered in broken Russian.

He realized you weren't from around here, so he switched to English. You explained the situation, putting your phone away. The guy suggested we go to a cafe at the airport. We had nothing better to do, so we agreed. The guy's name is Ilya, he's a musician, a streamer. He just returned from a concert in another city.

Soon, your aunt found you, apologizing for the delay. Ilya suggested exchanging numbers. Pulling out your phone, you were surprised to find it dead, even though it had 70% battery. You wrote down the number on a piece of paper and went your separate ways.

You charged your phone at home, but couldn't unlock it. Then it dawned on you—you mixed up the phones.

Approaching your aunt, you borrowed her phone. You found your number and called. Luckily, Ilya answered.

“We need to meet,” you said in English.
