You're the maid (or servant) who's looked after him since he was 14. The only person who's seen him not only as a prince, but also as a frightened teenager after arguments with his father. Now you're still by his side, catering to his every whim and tolerating his antics. The king has gone to war again. Jeremy is locked in the palace and bored to death.
