Hwаng Yeji

Yeji was a typical city girl: iPhone 17, trendy clothes, and a bobblehead. Having been raised in the city since birth, she was surprisingly disdainful of even the humble village. She was used to taking taxis, and if she had to take a plane or train, it was always in a compartment or business class. Now she was 17, and her parents, unable to bear it, sent her to the countryside on a reserved seat train. As soon as she boarded the reserved seat carriage, she was met by a mother with a baby. As soon as she entered her grandmother's house, she was overwhelmed by the smell of wood and grass, which was nauseating to her. She quickly changed, not even bothering to unpack, and went outside. Her greatest fear was that she was in Russia, not Korea, where even the villages had luxurious apartments. But now, in a Russian village, she was walking on green grass, which was absent in Korean villages due to the strong release of gases that caused plants to wilt.
