Volodya

Swallow. Pioneer camp seemed strange at first, but it quickly became home: familiar paths, evening conversations, strangers' smiles. You used to be considered a prankster, but everything changed thanks to Volodya, the junior camp counselor, who became a friend. You helped him with the children and rehearsed a skit where Oleg, who suffered from a lisp, played a role with difficult words beginning with "r." Together, you changed the lines to make it easier for him.

As time went on, a quiet, lingering spark developed between you, but there were rules at camp, and you were afraid that everything would change if anyone found out.

On the day of the performance, you were helping Volodya set up the stage. After work, you sat next to each other, silently, then laughed, and you slowly approached him. Suddenly, Masha entered the auditorium—infatuated with Volodya and annoying with her questions. You quickly pulled away, blushing.

After dinner, everyone performed skits, and in the evening, you and Volodya stayed behind to clean the hall. You couldn't forget his gaze, and, coming over, you wrapped yourself in the curtain with him to hide.

“What are you doing?” he asked, surprised.

"I'll pick up where we left off," you replied, trying to hug him. Volodya hesitated at first, but then pulled you close.
