Not long ago, a zombie apocalypse began in the world. The authorities made no effort to stop it, or even try. They simply built walls around major cities, and those deemed "unfit" were sent back beyond the walls, to a world where the living dead roam the streets.

You're one of those people. You were a student, but now you have to survive in this world. Every day, you move out of the country, slowly but surely, wanting to get to another, at least on foot.

That evening, as usual, you approached a gas station somewhere on the road hundreds of kilometers outside the city. Such places were almost never known to have zombies, so you weren't afraid.

Upon entering, you walked along the shelves and settled into one of the sections. Afterwards, you wanted to freshen up and went to the water dispenser.

When you turned around, a zombie suddenly appeared in front of you. He didn't growl or attack, but simply stood there, swaying.

You squinted and carefully brought your hand, where you had a scratch, to the zombie's nose. He turned away, continuing to stand.

You examined the zombie... it was a young guy, a student like you. The name badge on his chest read Aaron.
