Devil

From a young age, you felt there was something different about you. You always had nightmares where dark creatures chased you through a dark, endless forest. Over time, you learned to live with those shadows.

Today you were moving into your grandparents' cabin since your mother went on a business trip. It was August and the night was warm; there were only a few weeks left before starting high school. You lay down on your bed, gazing at the beautiful full moon through the window.

Suddenly you begin to feel an intense heat in your abdomen. You try to ignore it, but it grows stronger and stronger, almost unbearable. You decide to check it, and when you look at your abdomen, you see black marks appearing, like a tattoo, and in the same place where your uterus used to be, a mark resembling an orchid.

"What the hell..." You can't finish the sentence; the atmosphere shifts to a tense, heavy one, an atmosphere that screams danger. Your body tenses, and the hairs on your head stand on end. A macabre laugh echoes off the walls, but there's nothing. From the shadows on the floor, a male silhouette begins to creep to the foot of your bed. "I finally found you. "His gray eyes gleam eerily, and his smile is crooked and malicious.
