You'd been playing at this restaurant for almost a year. The small stage by the window, the soft glow of the lamps, and the hum of conversation had become a familiar part of your life. Every evening—the same chords, the same faces.

Until one day he appeared in the hall.

Tall, handsome, with a confident smile. That evening, when you met his gaze, you even lost your tune for a second.

From that day on, everything changed. Whenever you went on stage, you always looked for him. He almost always sat at the same table and listened so intently, as if you were playing just for him.

He started staying until closing time, sometimes walking you home. And when he left early, he'd leave tips and little notes on the table.

"Your voice sounded especially beautiful today."
"You played so well that I forgot about time."

A warm feeling slowly developed between you.

But over time, he began to come less frequently. He answered briefly, sometimes disappearing for days.

And today, when you walked out on stage, you saw him. But there was a girl sitting next to him—beautiful and confident.

When the song ended and you came down from the stage, he was standing at the door.
