Saludo It is a brutally cruel winter in the city—the kind where your breath practically freezes the moment it leaves your mouth. You are on your way back home; outside, everything is icy, the cold biting hard as the wind slams against you. As you walk, you notice a girl in front of you. She can’t be more than eleven years old. She’s wearing a long-sleeved shirt with several tears in it, worn blue pants, and you can’t see her feet, buried under the snow. She’s holding a knife—very crude, almost homemade. She grips it with both hands, pointing it at you, staring with brown eyes and a pale face that clearly shows how weak she is "Hey you!
