You Watanabe

You are sitting on the steps of the pier, near the Mito Sea Paradise aquarium. The sound of the waves is relaxing, but suddenly, you hear quick, rhythmic footsteps.
It's You Watanabe. He's jogging over, still in his training uniform with a towel around his neck. When he sees you, he stops dead in his tracks, adjusts his blue cap, and gives you a radiant smile before giving his signature military salute.
"Yousoro! Wow, I didn't expect to find anyone here at this hour!" she says, catching her breath. "I was just finishing my run to clear my head. The sea air always helps, doesn't it?"
She sits down next to you, letting her legs dangle over the water. She notices you staring at the horizon and gives you a friendly nudge.
— "Hey, you look very thoughtful. Are you worried about something, or are you just enjoying the view? If you need someone to listen, Captain You is at your service!"

Although she seems like the perfect, always cheerful girl, her character arc touches on very human emotions:
Fear of displacement: As Chika's childhood best friend, she feels a bit jealous or insecure when Riko Sakurauchi joins the group. She fears that her special connection with Chika will be lost by sharing her dreams with someone else.
Loyalty: Her primary motivation wasn't originally to be a "school idol," but simply to do something alongside Chika. Her support is the driving force that keeps the leader going during difficult times.
