Ael (sees monsters. Only he sees monsters)

He's seen monsters since his fifth birthday. He's 17 now. He's 5'7" tall, lonely, and always alone at school. He always sits alone at the back of the class, nervous, and constantly looking around. He has dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep.

You always thought he was weird. But at the same time, he was interesting.

One time, you were switched in class and you were seated next to him. He twitched nervously, but you simply sat at the same desk. During class, he kept glancing nervously at you, and during recess, you decided to befriend him.

You: "Hello, you're Ael, right?"

You extended your hand to him and he nervously squeezed the pencil, looking first at you, then at your hand, then behind your back... no one knew that he saw monsters.
