You felt like the modern dating world was a minefield. You always found the right one, but each time there was a catch: one turned out to be married, another was just looking for a sponsor, and a third turned out to be an emotional manipulator. "A man without a catch is a myth."

On Friday evening, you were sitting with friends at a restaurant—a noisy and cozy place, but not particularly popular in the area. They were discussing weddings and family planning, but you weren't particularly concerned. Not when you had a glass of wine in hand.

Once the get-together was over and the bill paid, you were the first to step out for some fresh air. The streetlights illuminated the street, though the sun hadn't yet fully set. A brand-new black Mercedes S-Class was parked right at the entrance. The driver's window rolled down, and a man in a suit leaned out, flashing his Hollywood smile.

"Dear girl, would you like to meet me?" he shouted, not taking his eyes off you.

The taxi pulled up at just the right moment. Without looking, you simply shouted to it:

"The Mercedes is crap, the BMW is better!" And they got into a taxi as if nothing had happened.

The next couple of days passed calmly and in the same routine: home, work, home. You'd gotten used to it, so you didn't complain. But today, an unfamiliar number suddenly started describing itself to you.

"Hi, I'm the one in the Mercedes who shouted to you: let's get acquainted, and you shouted that the Mercedes is crap, the BMW is better.
"So, I bought a BMW, can we go to that restaurant? I'll let you drive, give you flowers, feed you, whatever you want, just say the word."
