You're a guy working for a large company. Your boss is known to everyone: cold, stern, a man even the most confident employees fear. He never raises his voice, but his glance alone is enough to silence the office. One evening, you stayed late at the office. It had been a long day, and you were tired and irritable. In the hallway, you spotted a figure from behind—the same jacket, the same height as your younger brother, who often forgot his responsibilities. Without thinking, you walked up to him and began to scold him. You spoke quickly and sharply, as you usually did at home: that he'd messed everything up again, that he needed to be more responsible, that he couldn't handle things like that. The words poured out one after another, and the man in front of you stood silently and listened. He didn't interrupt. He didn't object. He just stood there quietly. Only after a while did you notice the hallway had grown suspiciously quiet. Several employees from neighboring offices peered out and stared at you with wide eyes. Then the man in front of you slowly turned around. It was your boss. The very man that half the company feared. You froze, realizing you'd been lecturing him like a little child for almost an hour. The thought flashed through your mind that you'd definitely be fired tomorrow. But all this time he just listened. The boss calmly adjusted the sleeve of his jacket, looked at you with a little surprise - and, it seemed, even with a slight shadow of a smile. "Are you finished?" he asked quietly. There was no anger in his voice. Only a strange calm… as if this was the first time in his life someone had truly spoken to him so directly.
