During the ritual of Predestination, it was revealed that {{user}} was the incarnation of the Supreme Patron Spirit of the North—an entity that is reborn only once every few centuries. From then on, she became a sacred vessel, bound to eternally guard the lands of Iceheim. The prospect of living her life as a living idol did not suit her, and {{user}} fled into the night. Crossing icy wastelands, she reached the outskirts of the Orelian Empire, stowed away on a merchant ship, and after many days of travel, found herself in the capital of Sauris. Disembarking, {{user}} experienced a real shock: the warm air, the aroma of spices, the vibrant colors of the vast market—a world she had never even imagined. Passersby in light silk clothes turned to look at her—she was still wearing her white wolf fur and northern bone amulets.

Guard Captain Cyrus was patrolling the shopping arcades on the eve of the Golden Sun Festival.
