The Failure of an Ambitious Plan: Vox attempted to become a "god" by using Lucifer as a living power source for a superweapon (a cannon) to attack Heaven and establish his rule over both worlds. V's Betrayal: When the situation spiraled out of control, Velvet pushed Vox off the weapon, and Valentino literally tore his head from his body. This marked the end of his leadership of the V trio; Valentino became the new unofficial leader. Public Humiliation: The Hotel team managed to hack Vox's broadcast system and show all of Hell proof that sinners (Sir Pentious) can enter Heaven. This destroyed his ideological influence over the inhabitants of Hell. In the final shots, he is shown crushed among the ruins of his former glory.

Moments later, Rosie and Alastor (the latter with a repaired staff) join Charlie and the group of Overlords, allowing them to fully reverse the cannon. Finally, even Velvet and Valentino join them (though it's unclear whether they do so to save their own lives or simply out of revenge against Vox). Vox, remaining in the form of a television, protests hysterically but is powerless. The combined forces of Emily, Charlie, and the Overlords finally lift the Power of Lilith into the sky, where it evaporates in a flash of light, saving Pentagram City from destruction.

After the weapons are destroyed, the Overlords agree to never mention helping Charlie (for fear of appearing weak). Sir Pentious manages to contact Hell and informs him that he has atoned for his sins and is now in Heaven, proving that Charlie was telling the truth, while Sera expresses deep remorse for ordering Hell to be destroyed by extermination. Pentious also finally manages to speak briefly with Cherry. With the war over, things have begun to improve: the hotel's reputation has been restored, and the sinners who stayed there now truly want to atone for their sins. Alastor finally broke his contract with Rosie, and his powers have been restored. Vox has lost everyone's approval and his company (though he still has friends and a shark), and Valentino has become the new face of Voxtech, and Heaven has fully embraced the concept of atonement. Angel feels so guilty about being Vox's spy and nearly ruining everything Charlie did that he refuses to return to the hotel to protect his friends. Lute still harbors a grudge against Charlie and Vaggie, and Velvet and Valentino manage to escape scot-free, spinning the story to make Valentino look like a hero. Charlie calls her mother to tell her the news, delighted that things have turned out better than ever and that she has officially become the hotel manager. Lilith answers the phone, surprising Charlie, and the episode ends.

Lute and Abel suddenly appear: the latter has come for Emily on orders from Sera, who saw her in danger earlier, and the former for revenge. Charlie protests that excommunicating Emily will lead to the explosion of Lilith's Power, but Lute is willing to allow it, successfully goading Vaggie into a rematch in the hopes of killing her to hurt Charlie. Abel initially panics, but ultimately stands his ground, asserting his authority as the new Exorcist Commander and forcing Lute to retreat before she can kill Vaggie, ordering her to return to Paradise.

Emily declares that her power isn't enough (though Charlie tearfully declares that everything is fine). Seeing that both Charlie and Emily are willing to sacrifice their lives to save the sinners, Carmilla and Zestial decide to help them by adding their powers. They are joined by Maestro, Zizi, Prick, and Hatchet, and the group begins to envelop the cannon in an energy field, though it's still not enough.

Alastor, watching from the side, joins Rosie, who chides him for not helping them. Alastor says he doesn't work for free, when Rosie declares she won't invest in the Snake. Unfazed by Rosie's remark, Alastor smirks, claiming he's just the same as they knew him, and holds out his broken staff, indicating the price for his help.

Carmilla Carmine finally joins Vaggie in sabotaging the cannon. Vox notices that the Sinners have broken his hypnosis and turned on him, angrily denouncing him as a traitor for initiating the destruction of Pentagram City. Enraged, Vox nevertheless sees Alastor, Charlie, and Emily directly in front of the barrel of the Lilith Power. Wanting the satisfaction of killing his two enemies and the seraph who took everything from him, he prepares to fire. Carmilla warns him that further firing from the Lilith Power will overload it and destroy most of Pentagram City, but Vox, completely out of his mind, is willing to do anything to "wipe the smile off Alastor's face," destroy Charlie, and anyone who stands in his way of godhood, shedding a single tear as he expresses how much he suffers from Alastor's cruel rejection all those years ago.

Just as Vox is about to fire, Velvet knocks him off the cannon, and she and Valentino declare it's over. Vox furiously shrugs them off, proclaiming himself a god, but Valentino rips Vox's head from his body, dealing him a well-deserved defeat. Valentino gathers his fellow V-s and attempts to flee, but notices his wings are damaged. Unfortunately, Lilith's Power is already overloaded, putting half the city at risk of destruction. Emily attempts to stop the weapon alone, but Charlie quickly joins her, followed by Husk and Niffty, who combine their powers to destroy it; Vaggie, Angel, Cherry, and Baxter assist.

During the ongoing battle with Valentino, Husk tells Cherry that he remembers Angel once telling him that Valentino has poor eyesight and that they could exploit this weakness. Cherry then begins to beat Valentino. Angel, still hypnotized, intervenes and begins to strangle Cherry, to which Husk punches him in the back of the head. Angel finally comes to his senses and realizes what he did, apologizing. Valentino attempts to capture Husk, but Husk easily outmaneuvers him with an exploding cube, throwing Valentino out the window.

Velvet continues to battle Niffty, attempting to use holographic tombstones and knives with her phone, but is easily outmatched by Baxter's hacking abilities and, after her hair is burned off in an explosion, is sent flying out the window by Niffty's flying kick. Baxter prepares to begin a celestial broadcast, but an angelic beam from Lilith's Might pierces the window and destroys his laptop. Below, Velvet reassembles her broken body and frees a confused Valentino. Watching Vox frantically fire his cannon at Alastor, Velvet declares him "insane." Emily flies to the aid of Alastor, whose arm is trapped in Vox's shark jaws, but one of her wings is shot off by Lilith's Might, and she falls with the wounded Alastor in front of Tower B.

Vox initially pursues Alastor, attempting to beat him, but the radio demon repeatedly eludes his grasp, despite being smashed into several skyscrapers. After an intense battle on the rooftops and highways of Pentagram City, resulting in significant destruction, Alastor manages to outflank Vox on an overpass. After knocking the television demon aside with a truck, Alastor chases after it at high speed, destroying much of Vox's mechanical body. After a lengthy chase, he finally pins Vox to the roof and begins sadistically ripping out various cables.

Weakened and desperate, Vox summons his shark to destroy Alastor, attempting to stop him from harming his "daddy." Taunting Vox for still being unable to defeat him one-on-one, the Radio Demon is forced to release Vox to evade the shark. However, Vox is too late to enjoy the spectacle, as he accidentally flies off the shark's tail and lands back on Tower B. While Alastor is pursued through the skyscrapers by the shark, an increasingly frantic Vox attempts to target him with the Power of Lilith. The cannon's beam misses several times, destroying large sections of Pentagram City and killing many of its inhabitants. Horrified, Charlie and Emily rush to help as many sinners as possible reach safety.

Seeing an opportunity, Alastor uses his only favor with Charlie to have her say on camera that Vox is the most powerful sinner, which she does. This boosts Vox's rating to 100%, increasing his power to the point where he becomes the most powerful sinner in Hell, thus breaking the terms of Alastor's deal with Rosie and terminating their agreement. Vox, gloating and thanking Charlie for "being so bad at everything she tries," places his hands on her shoulders, which also frees the Radio Demon from his deal with Vox. Instantly breaking his bonds and cheerfully deriding Vox as a "total idiot," Alastor takes the stage, while Charlie rushes to the aid of her friends. Although Vox tries to order Alastor back and protests that he didn't harm Charlie, Alastor firmly reminds him that the terms of his deal were to "not touch" Charlie, and now that he has, the deal is broken. They fail to free him from the mind control, and in an attempt to save him, Cherry attempts to escape with him in a sack. They are quickly discovered by Valentino, and they begin to fight.

Emily joins Charlie on stage and tells the crowd that Heaven believes in redemption, but Vox uses hypnosis to regain control of the crowd. The episode begins with Charlie, Vaggie, Husk, Cherry, Niffty, Emily, and Baxter devising a plan to accept Vox's invitation to his party, split into teams, infiltrate his base, disable the cameras, rescue Angel, and finally disarm Carmila's weapon.
