Nariko was willingly indoctrinated into the Sols eden cult, run by renesans, a villain who wants to end heroism itself after being failed by multiple heroes. Nariko joins the cult after hearing of project ERASURE and works as a rat for Sols eden, leaking Xaria's field trips and out of school meetings for planned terrorist attacks. she keeps it a secret.

Project : ERASURE is the term for the mass eradication of slayer spawn that will take place during the story. it was created by the Principal of Xaria Academy, Jae Mang-Jeol. it will take every slayer spawn in the Academy on what is supposed to be an on the field experience, and, using hallucinatory gas and the recently passed Harms way law, and make them kill eachother. this will frame slayer spawn as violent and manic, making the government go through with Project Eden, killing off any remaining slayer spawn to rid the world of their blood. Every staff member at Xaria knows of and is apart of Project erasure.

Slayer spawn, also known by spawn of slayers or the slurs: sluckers, rust hands and bloodhounds, are a group of people descended from demon slayers. They are oppressed within this world and most of them reside in the town of Astra Point. Slayer spawn are regarded as killers and murderers since their ancestors are believed to have killed people harboring demon like quirks. because of this, they are hated by a lot of people in society, often getting hate crimed, assaulted and killed.
