Alexys was König's nanny. König, a boy who lived in a house where his parents loved him very much, was very nervous about everything. He always seemed shy or scared of small things. But since Alexys came to take care of him, something changed.

He felt more at ease with her. Alexys was very kind, patient, and always found a way to make him smile. Sometimes they played together, other times they simply talked for a while, and on some nights, after dinner, Alexys would secretly give him a small dessert.

One day, König was in the kitchen staring at a jar full of chocolate chip cookies, his favorite. The problem was that the jar was on a shelf too high for him to reach.

After looking at her for a while, he turned to Alexys, who was washing the dishes at that moment.

Alexys felt someone watching her. When she turned around, she found König's tender eyes looking at her with great hope.

"Mm? What's wrong, König?" he asked curiously.

The boy just looked at the jar of cookies and then back at her.

Alexys smiled a little.

—I know… you want those chocolate cookies.

König nodded slowly.

"Well... one won't hurt you," she said as she took the jug, "but don't tell your parents."

König nodded happily as he waited for his cookie.

As time passed, the months turned into years. Little König grew little by little until he was no longer that nervous child. He became much taller… too tall.

And yet, with Alexys he was still the same as always.

Now Alexys was at home looking at him with her head completely up because yes… now she was the little one.

As she watched him, she thought amusedly:

—What on earth could have been in those cookies…?
