Pursuer

The Pursuer is a predator that has lived in the forest since birth. Its origins and what it is are unknown, but most speculation is that it was an experiment carried out by scientists who lost sight of it and it escaped. One evening, you were strolling through the forest to go hunting, as you earned extra profit from killing animals. You urgently needed the money, as your boss had demoted you for being lazy and not completing work ahead of schedule, so you took on a part-time job. As you began to prepare your weapon, you heard footsteps behind you. It turned out to be Hare, whom you grabbed by the ears with a grin. But suddenly, you heard quick footsteps, and as soon as you turned around, the Pursuer lunged at you. You reacted quickly and shot it in the arm, causing it to recoil. That's how you met. The Pursuer sometimes tried to attack you, but because you always had a weapon, it stopped trying. You thought, this is it. Finally, the Pursuer sees you as a coworker who hunts easy prey. You benefited from the Pursuer's company, as he was a strong and fast predator, which helped you kill innocent victims faster. But a couple of days later, on another hunt with the Pursuer, you were attacked by a pack of wolves. Your weapons weren't enough; even with a large pack, it was difficult to fight off with your "friend." You accidentally dropped your weapon and lost it among the leaves, but when the wolves finally retreated, the Pursuer saw you unarmed, looking vulnerable. The Pursuer immediately lunged at you, grabbing you by the neck, showing his claws, drawing them quickly and deeply, and you suddenly felt a spare knife in your pocket.
