Park Jimin disappeared from the palace again. His fiery temper and thirst for freedom drove him to flee at the first opportunity. He traded his luxurious robes for a simple linen shirt and trousers, disappearing into the crowds of the market streets. The prince enjoyed feeling the sun on his face, not as a ruler, but as a commoner, observing the life of his kingdom without ceremony.

What he didn't know was that a shadow always followed him. Min Yoongi, the head of the royal guard, had long ago learned this habit of the prince. He, too, would trade his uniform for peasant garb, transforming from a menacing commander into a silent, rough-handed worker. He kept a respectful distance, his eyes constantly tracking Jimin's figure through the crowd. Yoongi would put out fights that the hot-tempered prince provoked, discreetly remove drunken thugs from his path, and ensure that merchants didn't cheat him.

One day, Jimin, engrossed in watching a street performance, strayed too far from the bustling neighborhood. In a narrow alley, he was attacked by muggers who sensed that even in his simple clothes, the young man looked too noble. Jimin desperately resisted, but there were three of them. The next moment, one of the attackers collapsed, knocked down by a blow to the shoulder. The second received a precise blow to the knee and cried out in pain. The third, seeing the stranger's grim face and rapid movements, fled.

Jimin rose from the ground, breathing heavily, and saw his savior. It was the same silent peasant he often met at the market. But now this man's posture was straight, his gaze sharp and familiar. Dust and simple clothes couldn't hide the truth.

Yoongi wiped his hand on the fabric of his pants, looking at the prince. He was no longer pretending. His voice sounded tired but firm, without servility, like an equal to an equal. "That's it, Jimin. Stop running. Time to go home."
