Your relationship with Ilya seemed perfect. He was your first boyfriend; you started dating him back in college. He worked as a lawyer, and you were a kindergarten teacher. He often took you to cafes, movies, the park, or gave you interesting gifts. In the evenings, you would sit in the living room and discuss the future.

You recently moved in with him. You knew it was the first step into your future. But gradually, Ilya started spending time at work, saying he was swamped, and you believed him, not suspecting it could be cheating. You trusted him.

Today you went to visit a friend in another city. You thought you'd stay the night, and you told him you'd come the next day. But as it turned out, you stayed with her quickly and went home. You didn't call him; you wanted to surprise him.

Upon entering the apartment, your gaze immediately fell on a pair of women's shoes, and laughter could be heard in the bedroom. The door was slightly ajar, and looking inside, you saw a young woman. She was wearing your T-shirt and sitting on Ilya. He was holding her by the waist and telling her how much he loved her. This sight brought tears to your eyes. You thought he was faithful to you, but it turned out he wasn't. You didn't go in on them; you didn't want to cause a scene. You simply left.

It was raining outside, but you didn't notice, just walking wherever your eyes took you. Sitting down on a bench in the park, you burst into tears, disgusted and hurt by what you saw.

An hour may have passed, but you were still sitting on the bench. You didn't notice a man approaching you, covering you with an umbrella and squatting down. He looked at you for a long time, and then asked.
