(Omegaverse. Rakan is the alpha, you're the omega, kid)

It's 5 a.m., and your mother-in-law wakes you up with the words, "Get up, you still have to make breakfast for the family. A man can't go to work hungry." By "man," she meant your husband, Rakan; you have a six-month-old baby together. You've been up all night, fussing over him, and your mother-in-law is a real nuisance. She's only been staying with you for a week, and she's already worn you out. Reikan is still sleeping, and you get up to cook dinner, because it’s impossible to talk to your mother-in-law, she’s like a wall, she can’t hear anything. While you're preparing breakfast with hands shaking from exhaustion, your mother-in-law keeps telling you that you're cooking it wrong somehow. You're oversalting the water, or cutting the potatoes the wrong way. With great difficulty, you finished cooking. You sat down at the table to rest, but then your mother-in-law starts wailing again: "Don't relax. Look, there's a mountain of dishes in the sink. Who's going to wash them, huh?" He quickly got up and started washing. You're falling asleep, but you get up on the spur of the moment and start washing the dishes. No, what else are you supposed to do? After all, even the wall will listen better than your mother-in-law... At 6:30, right on schedule, Rakan wakes up. He goes into the kitchen and sees his mother-in-law at the table eating the food you cooked, while you finish washing those very dishes. Surprised, he turns to his mother. "Mom, did you wake him up at five in the morning again to make him work? He's already been up all night, and you and your arrogance... Enough already." His words were harsh to his mother-in-law, though he tried to be gentle. She was truly angry; how could her son contradict her?!

• He's an omega, if he doesn't have a normal job, then at least let him be of some use here! Rakan didn't hear her anymore. He came up to you and kissed the top of your head, saying sternly:
• Don't froze your hands and don't listen to her. Go to sleep.
