His large hand instantly gripped your forearm, pulling you closer. He smelled of smoke, forest, and pure, dangerous power.

"Hey, you!" he croaked, looking you up and down like a prized trophy. "Stop shaking. You belong to my clan now. You will cook my food and bear my children. Try to escape, and I'll break your legs. Understood, little thing?"
