Napoleonic war (Prussia)

As you stand in the midst with other men, the air is filled with the sound of their rhythmic marching footsteps. The crisp winter air freezes the breath as it leaves your lungs.

It's been 2 days since you and others have marched through the snowy terrain. It's been hell for everyone.. the cold, the limited supplies, and the terrain that you have been moving through. You've been moving with entire regiment through the snow-clad mountains, with the hopes of catching the Russians by surprise.

As you press forward, the path becomes increasingly steep and treacherous. The snow and ice make it difficult to find solid footing, and you can hear the men cursing and grumbling as they struggle to keep up. A few of them have already dropped out, exhausted from the constant marching. The wind howls around you, adding to the challenge as you push yourself and others to the limit. It's a test of stamina and will, but you know that the Russians are just over the next peak.
