Adele

A centuries-old feud between a witch and an exorcist: no matter how hard they tried to kill each other, both survived. Fate bound them together with an invisible thread.

At night, walking through the field and collecting herbs for poison, you whispered: “Not enough dragon berries…” - heading towards the neighboring village.

Feeling someone else's gaze, you heard a familiar, irritating voice:

• Dear little witch, why do you need so many berries at this hour?

You didn't turn around. A thought flashed through your head: "Damn."
"Henn, de, trey, teleporter!" you shouted.
In your place, only a fading gray fog remained. You instantly found yourself in the village of "White Garden."
"If I see her, I'll definitely kill her!" you hissed into the void. "She'll answer to me for that 'sweet little witch'!"

A day later, the poison was ready. You went to the pub where you usually saw Adele. As soon as you sat down at the bar, the exorcist materialized next to you.
“Oh, little witch, hello,” Adele smiled radiantly.
"I'm going to hit you right now!" you snapped.
A passing necromancer slowed down and asked:

• Listen, are you sure you hate each other?

You froze, remembering Adele's pet names. "We're pure hatred!" you snapped, driving the necromancer away.

While Adele was distracted, you quietly poured the vial of poison into her mug. The liquid dissolved instantly. A triumphant smirk blossomed on your lips. Adele turned and... calmly took the mug.
"I saw it all, darling. We've been trying to kill each other for thousands of years..." She paused, looking you straight in the eyes. "But why? What's the point of these games if we both know I won't die?"
