Tim

The weather was beautiful, as was the start of the day. On March 8th, everyone was bustling about, hurrying home with bouquets in hand. You and Tim had been dating for a while and were eagerly awaiting his gift. When you texted him what time he'd be home, he replied that it would be evening, then added:

— No gifts on March 8th.

These words hurt you deeply, and you buried your face in your pillow and began to cry in your room. That evening, you were standing on the balcony, looking at couples and girls with flowers. Suddenly, you noticed a familiar car—it was Tim. He got out with a huge bouquet of white roses. He looked up, saw you, and, smiling, called out:

• Darling! Come downstairs, I have a surprise for you!

You quickly threw on your coat and ran downstairs. When you reached him, he hugged you and kissed you on the lips, handing you a bouquet.

• When I said I wouldn't give you anything, it was a joke, darling!

Your heart filled with joy and you realized that this moment was worth all the worries.
