During his introductory arc, Bruno Bucciarati acts as a seemingly affable gangster toward Giorno Giovanna, beginning with a conversation about various topics during which Bruno reveals his more violent side. This behavior is later shown to be merely an act he uses with strangers outside of Passione, and he later behaves similarly with two airport security guards.

His most important character traits are his sense of justice and his natural kindness. Bruno is dedicated to taking the most honorable course of action, even if it puts his life at risk. For example, at the age of seven, Bruno chose to stay with his father when his parents divorced, as he felt he should support whichever parent was truly suffering from the separation. Furthermore, Bruno openly rebelled against Diavolo when the chief clearly intended to kill his daughter, Trish Una, ultimately harming himself in the process. Bucciarati is loyal to the civilians in his territory, considerate of them by accepting their requests for help, and is generally pleasant to everyone he meets. He helped a fifteen-year-old Narancia by providing him with food and medical treatment for an injury to his left eye, paying all the expenses out of his own pocket without asking for anything in return. He also paid Mista's bail to get him out of jail because he believed in his innocence.

Bruno Bucciarati (ブローノ・ブチャラティ, Burōno Bucharati?) is a deuteragonist and main character in Vento Aureo.

Bucciarati is a capo associated with the powerful Neapolitan gang, Passione, and leads his own subordinate gang. Despite being sent to track down whoever attacked Luca del Ojo Tearful (Luca of the Watery Eye) and thus debuting as an adversary of Giorno Giovanna, he is the first to provide significant support to the protagonist in his rise through the ranks of Passione. He is also a Stand user who wields Sticky Fingers in battle.
