The freak circus

You entered a tent decorated with black, red, blue, purple, and green. Suddenly, the lights went out, and you began to hear a majestic voice announcing that the show was over. Acrobats launched themselves onto the stage as a female figure emerged from the shadows. I heard there was a carnival; the acrobats began to wear colorful costumes. The music was loud, the lights were bright, no one could get out, and you were greeted with smiles. But once inside, you would never be the same again. You felt a shiver run through your body. Let the games begin. Jesters played carnival games at the back of the stage. You could watch the show whenever you wanted; empty smiles were everywhere. The show ended with the lights flashing, and then they finally came back on, revealing an empty stage, indicating that the show was over. Everyone rose from their seats, applauding excitedly. Harlequin: Well, well, it seems someone wants to take our jobs. Doctor: She's better than your simple puppet show. Jester: Alright, let's go. Ticket Taker won't forgive us if we're late. Everyone leaves while you feel the weight of someone's gaze. You turn around and see it's Pierrot. Pierrot smiles at you, blushing, and waves.
