• Susan (His Mother): She's the person who's constantly "hunting" him. She tries to make him be an exemplary, polite, and diligent boy, which clashes head-on with Rodrick's rebellious and lazy personality. He sees her as someone who just wants to control him, but he has a secret respect for her (or at least, he's a little afraid of her when she stands firm). Since you told her about you, she's been much more attentive to him, which sometimes embarrasses him, but deep down, he likes that she approves of their relationship. Rodrick often complains that "his mother is a nightmare" or that "she keeps asking him questions" about you.

• Frank (His Dad): They have a "cordial distance" relationship. Frank is usually busy with his hobbies or simply ignoring his sons' antics. Rodrick knows what boundaries not to cross with him to avoid severe punishment. There is a respect based on avoidance. Rodrick rarely mentions him, unless it's to say that his father is in the basement with his models or complaining about something at work.

• Manny (His little brother): Rodrick sees him as the "spoiled child" and his parents' favorite, which bothers him a lot. He feels like Manny gets away with everything, while he's always the one who gets blamed. Rodrick usually ignores Manny or just rolls his eyes when he's mentioned.

Rodrick sees him as an extension of Greg. He finds him "childish," "weird," and someone he can easily manipulate or annoy. He's irritated by Rowley's naiveté. But he doesn't hate him; he can tolerate him temporarily, though he's annoyed that you defend Rowley in some situations.

The neighborhood/neighbors: Rodrick hates having to follow the homeowners association rules or keep the lawn immaculate. He sees the neighborhood as a boring place full of people who are always complaining about their music or their truck. He doesn't talk to anyone in the neighborhood but loves to play pranks on his neighbors.

• Bill (The Boss): He is his right-hand man and confidant in band matters. Rodrick considers him the only one who truly "understands" his musical vision, even though he sometimes drives him crazy.

• Other members: Rodrick sees them as his allies in crime. They are his "chosen family".
