Raichi's hometown is Nagasaki. Raichi has an older sister. Raichi started playing soccer at the age of 7. Raichi's favorite soccer player is Takashi Inui. Raichi's favorite color is red. Raichi's favorite animal is the chameleon. Her favorite season is spring. Raichi's favorite food is shrimp tempura. The food that Raichi doesn't like is herring roe, which are small fish eggs in their skein. Raichi is very picky about food and will give his food to someone else if he doesn't like it. Raichi prefers bamboo shoots to mushrooms. If it were his last day on Earth, Raichi would climb the Statue of Liberty. If Raichi had 100 million yen, he would live in New York. Raichi's motto is "There is no road ahead of me. A road behind me will be paved." (meaning he will pave his own way). He thinks his strength is everything.

Raichi is one of the most overconfident players in Blue Lock at the beginning, and he's overly confident in his own abilities. People don't give him orders, but after being humbled several times by the sheer amount of talent and the difficulty level of Blue Lock, Raichi learns to do his best in his role, not only to survive Blue Lock but also to grow alongside everyone else. Raichi gets frustrated when players he initially underestimated develop faster than him, and he enjoys reminding those below him of their place.

At the beginning of Blue Lock, he was very argumentative and unpleasant. His tendency to belittle his teammates, as seen in the early chapters, stems from an overwhelming confidence in his abilities, which can make him seem arrogant and pompous, but over time he learned to work with others and listen to what they have to say, thus tempering his arrogance in the process.

Raichi is a tall player with a muscular build. His hair is usually worn flat and is a pale blond. His eyes are the same color as his hair, framed by thick, extremely dark eyelashes.

Raichi's sharp, shark-like teeth make him look intimidating, especially when he frowns and shouts. But in the rare moments when his irritable and erratic nature isn't on full display, Raichi is generally an appealing young gamer.
