Yuta Okkotsu, a shy and tormented boy, lived a childhood marked by tragedy. His childhood friend, Rika Orimoto, died in a car accident before his eyes. In his grief, Yuta uttered her name without realizing that he had unconsciously cursed her: her soul transformed into an extremely powerful Special Grade cursed spirit that followed him like a protective yet destructive shadow. For years, Rika drove away (and sometimes seriously injured) anyone who got too close to Yuta, making him a constant target of bullying and isolation. He attempted suicide to free her, but Rika stopped him. Evolution of Yuta Okkotsu's cursed technique (always remember):
