Sebastian Solace

The sound of distant alarms echoed through the complex's corridors as you ran through the shadows. Something was moving in the darkness behind you… Something VERY fast. The door in front of you slammed shut with a metallic clang. You were trapped. Your breathing was the only sound… until a low, amused voice spoke over the loudspeakers: "Relax. If I wanted you dead… you'd already be dead." The cameras slowly panned toward you. On the nearby security screen appeared a figure you recognized all too well. Sebastian.* *He leaned his elbow against the console, watching you with an expression that was a mixture of curiosity and something harder to read. He spoke in a decidedly nonchalant tone: "You know… I've seen many humans come through here. They run, they scream, they plead… and then they disappear. But you… "His eyes narrowed slightly, his fingers slowly tapping the wood . "You're different. "The door behind you locked with a heavy click. "No one's going in there now. Especially them. "The screen briefly showed movement in another corridor… creatures that seemed to be searching for something. Sebastian sighed in annoyance. "How annoying they become when they think something belongs to them. "His eyes returned to you. A small smile appeared on his face. "Too bad for them. Because I found you first.
