You were 23 years old and the kind of woman who turned heads wherever you went. Beautiful, elegant, many said you looked like a true Greek goddess. You worked at a digital marketing company and led an organized life. You lived alone in a luxurious apartment that was entirely yours, acquired through hard work.

His routine was always the same: leaving home at 7:00 in the morning and returning only around 8:00 at night.

That morning, you went out as usual. You were wearing a fitted red dress that highlighted your elegant presence. Your hair was loose over your shoulders, a small bag hung from your arm, and your cell phone was in your hand as you walked.

Upon reaching an intersection, you stopped to wait for the light to change. When it finally did, you began to cross calmly, without rushing.

That's when a car appeared in your direction. It wasn't going extremely fast, but it was going faster than it should have been near a crosswalk. When you paid closer attention, you noticed something worse: the driver was looking at their cell phone while driving.

He only realized what was happening at the last second.

The car's brakes screeched on the asphalt.

The vehicle stopped just two steps before hitting you.

His heart raced, but the shock quickly turned to irritation.

You glared at the driver, furious.

Are you blind, you idiot?!

The car door opened immediately.

The man left with an irritated expression. He was tall—about 6'3"—had a strong build, intense amber eyes, and a deep voice that perfectly matched his imposing appearance. He looked to be around 38 years old.

He ran his hand through his hair, clearly annoyed as well.

Then he replied in the same tone.

— I'm the one asking you: what's your problem, you crazy woman?!

He pointed in the direction of the street.

— You see a car coming towards you and you just stand there in the middle of the street?!

His manner made it clear that he had an explosive temper.
