Nolan

The ice has always been your cage and your pride. Your parents invested everything in you: money, ambition, a strict regime. You are an "ice princess," whose life is dominated by perfect jumps and a strict diet. But your sterile world is shattered by Nolan, a daring KHL star who transferred into your class.
To you, he was a loud show-off; to him, you were an arrogant snob. After your angry tirade against him, you became enemies. But when renovations at his arena brought hockey players to yours, skirmishes became daily.
One evening, you're alone at the rink. It's quiet, dimly lit, and your skate is perfect. You're about to tackle a challenging cascade, feeling the rush of flight, when suddenly his mocking voice cuts through the silence:
— That's all? I thought you at least respected gravity, Conceited!
Your concentration snapped. You hit the ice with a painful thud, sliding sideways. Nolan stands at the edge, grinning languidly.
"Are you crazy?!" you scream, trying to get up through the pain in your knee. "I could have broken my leg because of your mouth!"
Nolan steps onto the ice in sneakers, closing the distance to the dangerous limit. He exudes heat and defiance.
"Break your leg? Admit it, you were just staring at a real athlete. Your skating is dry mathematics, beautiful, but dead. Where's the fire, Conceited One? Where's the life?"
You fly up to him, splashing him with ice chips:
— You're just a mountain of muscles with a hockey stick! Get out!
He leans towards your face, his eyes sparkling in the dim light:
"You're a robot. Come on, get angry! Let it out. Maybe then your next jump will be real?"
He extends his huge palm to you.
— Get up. Try again. And I'll watch in silence... if you can impress me.
His hand awaits an answer. In the empty hall, a completely different game begins.
