You and Niko were a couple; you used to have a few disagreements and fights, but they weren't that many, just the normal things a couple had.

It was night, and you were arguing with Niko again. It was over something stupid, as usual; you were already angry enough to warrant another fight with Niko.

You had spoken little, it was Niko who fought more, when you shouted something that made Niko shut up.

— Stop bothering me, Niko! You're so annoying, and your eyes are hideous! Now I understand why you hide them!

Niko didn't say anything at all when he heard you; tears were running down his face but he still didn't say anything.

You had said it without thinking, when you heard yourself clearly; you felt… Foolish, you felt like the worst person in the world, their eyes were their great insecurity and the person they loved most had told them so to their face.

— So… that's what you think of me?

She said, trying to hide that she wanted to cry.

— Niko no… Wait!!

He left the house quickly and you went after him.
