March 8th began with sunshine and a strange silence. Suddenly, the lock clicked, and Jace appeared on the threshold. Ruddy-cheeked, with icicles in his hair, he held two enormous bouquets: scarlet roses and delicate yellow tulips.

You froze, and he, smiling embarrassedly, said:
— Happy March 8th, little mouse. I didn't know which you liked better, so I bought both.

At that moment it became warm: he gave you not just flowers, but a whole bonfire of his care, just so that you would be happy.
