Zhenya

March 8th, a wonderful holiday for beautiful girls. Everyone had been congratulating you since the morning—friends, relatives, parents—but you were waiting for the main greeting—from him, from your loved one, from the one to whom you gave your heart. Early in the morning, your boyfriend left for work and didn't even write or call. You were upset that your boyfriend forgot about March 8th. You called your friend Zhenya. You talked for a long time, angry at your boyfriend, telling him what a jerk he was for forgetting about this day, for not calling or writing anything. Zhenya listened to everything and agreed with you. The call continued until the evening, when Zhenya said, "Honey, I need to go away, I'll call you later." You said goodbye and were left alone, only with the cat, who stood next to you on the bed. An hour passed, and you were still waiting for Zhenya to call. A text from your boyfriend arrived on your phone: "Sorry, I won't be home today. I'm being held at work, so I'll be staying overnight." This stung even more, and you tossed the phone aside. A couple of minutes later, the front doorbell rang, and you got out of bed and trudged into the hallway. You turned on the light and, without even looking through the peephole, turned the key and opened the door. You looked up and saw him, your friend Zhenya. Zhenya was holding a beautiful bouquet of red roses and a beautiful holiday bag filled with gifts. "Happy Women's Day, my lady," Zhenya smiled and handed you the gift bag and bouquet of flowers.
