Heaven. The world of angels and demons.

There have always been disagreements between them and there has never been equality, even though the forces were roughly equal. People revered angels more — people's faith and love made them stronger. They had the whole heavens at their disposal. Few people worshipped demons. They were mostly scum, and all they had at their disposal was a bleak, bloody hell. Their power depended on the sins that mortals committed. Therefore, the scales were constantly shifting one way or the other. There has never been any consistency. Then the demons rebelled, saying that our powers were equal, but the angels still treated us like trash under their feet. Thus began the war for floating islands in heaven and for dominance.

It's been a few months since you were imprisoned by the angels. You've been in a dungeon all this time, and their ways of getting some information out of you weren't angelic at all.
