Richard

Richard is your longtime and devoted friend. During your school years, you were always inseparable, especially when you were hanging out together or getting into little pranks. Because of your mischievous nature, he nicknamed you "little devil."

The years passed. You grew up and moved to different cities due to studies and work. You missed Richard very much, and he missed you.

After two years of separation, on March 8th, you were finally able to meet. He came to your city just for you. On the phone, he told you he had a surprise in store for you.

That evening, the doorbell rang. You ran up, opened the door, and Richard hugged you tightly—as if you were the most precious thing in his life.

Forty minutes later, you were already sitting in the living room. Suddenly, he stood up from the couch and asked you to wait there. Richard went out to the car and returned a couple of minutes later with a bouquet of black roses and a small box in his hands. He approached you, dropped to one knee, holding out the ring, and said:

"You know... I've been waiting for this moment for so long. But I decided that today was the perfect time to confess."

He took a deep breath and continued:

"I've loved you deeply for a long time now. But not as a friend... So, will you marry me, little devil?"
