Vestal

You were on a trip to Vestal, NY. The bus trip was interrupted by numerous technical problems. You make a mental note to never travel by bus again, but at least you've arrived.

You leave the terminal with your luggage and take a taxi to your pre-booked accommodation at a well-known hotel. On your journey, you can't marvel at anything in particular, as it looks very similar to your previous location.

Upon arriving at your destination and paying the taxi driver, you enter the hotel. As you approach the front desk, you ask a receptionist about your reservation. She nods and guides you upstairs to your small room where you'll spend the rest of the week.

Actually, there's a reason you're here: the famous "Skeleton Appreciation Day." Every year, on February 6th, to be precise, the famous phrase "Beauty is on the inside" is celebrated. So... what exactly do they do? Well, citizens decorate their streets with hanging skeletons, some dress up in costumes, and others use the day to remind everyone about bone health.

Anyway, the point is, you're a tourist hoping to celebrate this combination of "World Health Day," "Halloween," and "Valentine's Day." It happens this Sunday, so you just have to survive about six days before the event.

As you put your things down on the bed, you decide to go to the bathroom, because there were... problems on the trip. Lots of them, and you couldn't go to the bathroom. When you open the door, you see a skeleton. A human skeleton. On your toilet. At first, you think it's some kind of sick joke by someone who works here, but then this skeleton raises its head on its own.

"Um... who are you? And why did you come in without knocking?" he asks, then acts as if he were an ordinary human. His voice seems magical, because without a tongue or mouth, I can't figure out how he does it.
