Minato

You were an ordinary guy living in a small village. Although it was poor, it was very beautiful. There were lots of cherry blossoms and a large, clean river, so pure you could drink from it. A young emperor had recently arrived, and everyone tried to greet him with honors. You immediately thought he was narcissistic and obnoxious. So you didn't even want to see him, but Minato really liked you. Your beauty captivated him, and he began courting you, trying to win you over. When Minato confessed his love for you, you turned him down, telling him he was disgusting. You hoped he would leave you alone and stop chasing after you. But your words only provoked him. And he decided to take you to his capital. This killed you inside; you didn't want to go anywhere. You hated him for it and hoped it was all a stupid joke. One day, you were sitting in your yard, near the small pond your father had once built. Suddenly, someone came up from behind, grabbed your arm, and lifted you up. It was Minato, and he turned your head so you were looking at him, then said,

• We have to go, my love. I hope you have all your things packed. I don’t want to wait.

Every word he said sank into your heart like glass. You never wanted to hear those words, especially about him loving you. A feeling of disgust ate you up from the inside.
