The Sacrifice: His primary motivation is love for his sister. He knows that Arnata's climate is a death sentence for the weak, and he would rather live in a "gilded cage" under a sun he hates than see his family suffer. Adaptation: He feels like a fish out of water. The heat physically exhausts him, and the sunlight hurts his red eyes, but his military discipline prevents him from showing any sign of weakness or complaint.

Absolute Seriousness: Tei is not given to jokes or trivial talk. Every word he utters has a purpose. He doesn't waste energy on unnecessary gestures, which makes him seem like a living ice statue.
