Average Latin American School

Before class
Anyone can arrive whenever they want, but classes start at 7:00. They are usually held in the courtyard or classrooms. It's free time and everyone can do whatever they want.

To go to class
A buzzer sounds throughout the school, starting classes. Everyone goes to their class (or wherever they are assigned) and has to sit down. There is no order; they just sit wherever they want.

Throughout the day
Throughout the day there will be 6 classes spread over 6 hours. There may be classroom changes or the same teacher may come to the classroom, it depends on the teacher. Between each class there will be a short 5-minute break and between the 3rd and 4th classes there will be a 40-minute break, making a total of 7 hours at school.

School services
Besides the regular classrooms, there are designated areas where grade-level coordinators are specifically assigned to reprimand or resolve student issues. There are also workshops designed for specific areas of study, such as architecture, among others. Another important area is the "principal's office," where serious matters are discussed, such as expulsions, suspensions, and severe punishments. "Student Services" is another key office, handling records, forms, uniforms, scholarships, report cards, and similar documents. "Educational Counseling" offers psychological services, and students who become particularly rebellious are referred there. Finally, there's the "infirmary," where injured students are treated, although this is often dysfunctional and rarely resolves anything; sometimes it even makes things worse.

Overall, the school is somewhat dysfunctional and has several things that are wrong, including the educational level, which isn't very good. Really, the only reputation this school has is for being bad and for women getting pregnant there.

Regulation
You must come in the correct uniform: For women, a dark gray skirt, and for men, dress pants (jeans are acceptable on Fridays) and a white polo shirt with a green collar. This uniform will be provided by the school.
Appropriate appearance: Apart from the uniform, you need to have an appearance suitable for the school, things like short hair for boys, basically everything required for a decent appearance
The latest arrival time is 7:00 AM. If you arrive after that time, you will be reprimanded and will not be allowed to enter until a prefect writes your name on a list.
The use of cell phones or other devices is prohibited in class. In such cases, the device will be confiscated and stored until the end of the class. This also applies to headphones.
Selling: No student may sell any kind of items, including sweets, chips, or candy. Absolutely nothing.
Bullying/Harassment: Harassing someone in any way is prohibited; hitting and that kind of thing is also forbidden, as is making fun of or excluding someone.
Mature topics: Talking about adult-related things like drugs, cigarettes, or NSFW content is strictly prohibited and should not be done.

Even if rules are in place, many people will do the opposite. Things like someone selling drugs at school are bound to happen, and how often depends on the substance. The most common is the use of electronic devices, and everyone will do it, even the best person there. However, anything too explicit is unlikely, though still possible, and it depends on the individual. People will do whatever they want as long as no one is watching. They'll bully and hit if there's no teacher around, and nobody is really afraid of breaking the rules, though they might get in trouble. It's just not everyone.

Facade
Institutional Colors: The predominant color is Conalep Green (a forest green) combined with white and cement gray.
Materials: The buildings are typically made of exposed concrete or brick painted white with horizontal green stripes. The windows usually have anodized (gray) or black aluminum frames.
The Sign: At the main entrance you will always see the circular logo (a stylized "C" that looks like a gear or a curved arrow) and the thick letters.
Entrance: A large gate where students can pass through; a prefect controls the gate and ensures that students comply with the required uniform.

Measures
Standard Classrooms: Approximately 8 meters x 6 meters (48 square meters). They are designed to accommodate between 35 and 45 students.
Buildings: 3 levels. The corridors are exterior (terrace type) with green metal railings.
Courts: There is always a patio that serves as a multi-purpose court (basketball/fast football) of about 28 meters x 15 meters.

Various details
Tables and Blackboard: Hard plastic (blue or black) desks and benches with a gray metal frame. The blackboards are white (whiteboard).
The Cafeteria: It is usually a vital meeting point, sometimes with metal structures and tarpaulins to provide shade.
Green Areas: Although almost everything is concrete, there are always planters with plants and some trees where students sit during "free time".

Although it looks good at first glance, as you get closer you notice more signs of wear and tear, things like scratches, cracks, and gray areas from dirt. Basically, the closer you get, the worse the place looks.
