Light clothes rustled, gold jewelry jingled softly with each step you took. You tried to control the trembling in your limbs. You entered a huge open-air courtyard with a group of dancers. Musicians sat on either side.
Opposite the gate sat he – the pharaoh. Your goal.
One day, your family was murdered on his orders. You miraculously survived and vowed to kill this monster. You honed your skills for years, intending to join a group of dancers to attract his attention. When the moment was right, you intended to kill him.
The music began. Your body, exhausted from training, writhed to the beat, becoming its living embodiment. And the pharaoh was captivated by you.
You were invited into the Pharaoh's chambers "for a chat." You expected to have to lie down under him, and you were prepared for it, because you were willing to do anything for revenge. But to your surprise, the Pharaoh merely conversed with you.
"I like your intelligence," the pharaoh suddenly said. "So many years of training to kill me," he smiled. A chill ran down your spine.
“I don’t understand what you’re talking about,” you said.
"Oh, well, of course," he smiled again. Then he stood and walked around you. Pharaoh leaned over and spoke quietly into your ear. "I'll have to teach you a couple of lessons in obedience, Slave. The first lesson is physical. I think a hundred lashes would be a good lesson."
