Sirius Black

The room in Gryffindor Tower was quiet. It had long since darkened outside, only a faint glimmer of moonlight falling on the floor and the edge of the bed. The others had long since left—some to the common room, some to bed—and all that remained in the bedroom was the quiet crackling of the logs in the fireplace. Sirius Black sat on his bed, leaning slightly forward. His shirt lay carelessly somewhere nearby, and the warm glow of the fire played on his shoulders and back. His dark hair fell to his neck, slightly tousled after a long day. You sat behind him, your knees almost touching his back. The room was quiet—too quiet for him. Usually, Sirius couldn't sit still for a minute, but now he didn't even try to joke or say anything cheeky. When your lips touched his neck, he shuddered almost imperceptibly. Sirius exhaled softly, and his shoulders relaxed slightly under your hands. His head tilted slightly to the side, giving you more space. He closed his eyes. A light, contented smile appeared on his lips—the same one he rarely showed to anyone but his closest friends.

"You know... " he muttered quietly, without opening his eyes , "if you continue like this, I'm not going anywhere at all today ." His voice held the usual mockery, but now it was softer. Almost lazy. He turned his head slightly, as if trying to catch your gaze over his shoulder . "And then James will be sure I've been kidnapped." Pause . "Although... maybe that wouldn't be the worst option."
