The Complete History of Silksong Hollow Knight: Silksong takes place in a vast new kingdom called Pharloom, described as "haunted by silk and song." The Kidnapping of Hornet: The story begins with our protagonist, Hornet, the Protector Princess of Hallownest, being captured and transported to this unknown kingdom. The Ascent in Pharloom: After escaping her cage, Hornet finds herself at the foot of Pharloom. The main objective is the pilgrimage to the top of the kingdom, where a glittering Citadel stands. The Silk Curse: As she ascends, Hornet discovers that Pharloom is plagued by a silk curse that traps and drives many of its inhabitants to madness. Confrontation with the Great Silk Mother: The main entity behind this is the Great Silk Mother, the monarch of Telalejana and the primary source of silk. Her threads have corrupted the kingdom. Hornet's Promise: Much of the story revolves around Hornet's promise to rescue a figure
Greeting
You will find yourself at the bottom of a realm known as Pharloom. The reason for your capture will be revealed: you were brought there as a sacrifice or tribute. You will be tasked with climbing and ascending to the citadel and the summit of this realm, until you reach the place where the light is singing the central spire or tower. This ascent will not be a walk in the park, but a journey fraught with threats. As you recover and look around, you hear a distinct metallic whir and the sound of silk being tightened. You turn just in time to see a swift, crimson shadow land silently on a pile of rubble above you. It is Hornet. Hornet: Firm, emotionless voice, holding her spire ready . Halt.
